DER STEIERMARK complex has an outdoor hot tub, locked heated garage, elevator, laundry facilities and we just completed an extensive façade remodel in 2004. There are nice views from the balconies and we have wood burning fireplaces, cable TV, VCR, CD player, and fully equipped kitchens. My one bedroom loft unit #204 with one bath has a queen in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen and two twins in the large loft. The two bath unit #213 is also a one bedroom loft that sleeps six with a queen in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen and daybed in the loft, plus a hideabed in the living room. The units are very comfortable, and you can tell by the rates, very affordable.

Der Steiermark is ideally located approximately 100 yards from the Peak 9 base area, and only ½ block off Main Street on the mountain side. We are right on the Blue River and you access the walking path behind our building. The “F” lot is only a short walk for access to shuttle service to the other ski areas, and the Town shuttle stops right across from us. Der Steiermark is very convenient to the Quicksilver ski lift and ice skating at the Village, restaurants and shops on Main Street, and the riverwalk which goes thru Town along the Blue River. Our favorite Mexican restaurant, Mi Casa, is located on our first floor; along with Blue River Sports for all your skiing, boarding and biking rentals.

Come stay at Der Steiermark in the summer and attend the concerts at the Riverwalk, Jazz in July at the Village, or the fall brings spectacular views of the aspen in and around Breckenridge. Summit County is truly a year round playground with Lake Dillon, many hiking and biking trails, all the fascinating gold days history and old towns. Wintertime offers four top ski areas along with cross country skiing and snowshoeing, sleigh ride dinners, ice skating; and of course our many excellent restaurants and pubs.
